Chaum,Korean-medicine Center, mainly consists of an oriental acupuncture department and 8 types of physical constitution
departments. Our staff makes maximum efforts to provide the most effective treatment for each patient's body
constitution based on oriental medicine.

The Oriental Acupuncture Department is responsible for therapies inspired by traditional oriental medicine, mainly meridian theory, using acupuncture, bee stings, moxibustion, and herbal medicine. All staff do their best to provide the best oriental treatments that will bring balance between the meridian, metacarpus, and skeletal structures.

Based on eight-constitutional medicine, we try to figure out every patient's genetic constitution, and then prescribe the most suitable acupuncture and diet to improve one’s health.

Eight Constitutions

The Eight-Constitution Medicine is a Korean traditional medicinal classification system that classifies the body types according to the characteristics. This system was established by Dowon Kwon, and first introduced to the international academy in Tokyo in October of 1935.
Eight-Constitution Medicine includes various constitutional therapies using acupuncture, diet, and herbal medicine.
